The biggest battle he participated would be the Battle of He Fei. Cao Cao's main force was away in Han Zhong fighting with Shu Army under Zhuge Liang. Sun Quan took this opportunity to strike He Fei Castle which is weakly defended. Zhang Liao was in charge of defence with only 8000 troops assisted by Li Dian and Yue Jin. Sun Quan's force is as large as 100,000. Sun Quan let his guard down and became complacent. With his deeds Zhang Liao was leader among Cao Cao's five elite Generals which include himself, Zhang He, Xu Huang, Yu Jin and Yue Jin. He died of illness at the age of 56.

As for this model, it is shape after MS 14S Gelgoog. Overall is quite a cool model. Cheap. At the price of only RM 26 before discount. The only problem would be the legs are not so volatile. So its a bit difficult to do any pose which require the legs to be twist about. Another will be the pole for its blade is a little short but heavy. So again there are limited positions you can do with it
