Sun Shang Xiang

Sister of the founding Emperor of Eastern Wu (Sun Quan), Lady Sun was the only recorded daughter of Sun Jian and Lady Wu.

In 209, she was given to Liu Bei to marry as a part of an alliance between Eastern Wu and Shu Han. At the time, Lady Sun was a little over twenty years of age but because of the marriage, she took general control over his household as well as guardianship over his son and heir Liu Shan. This is because both of Liu Bei’s former wives had already died of natural causes. Because Lady Sun was accompanied by more than a hundred female attendants, all of whom were capable of bearing arms, whenever Liu Bei visited her, he was scared. No children are recorded between them.

Two years later, however, in 211, there was tension within the Wu-Shu Alliance over the affairs of Jingzhou. It was at this time when Sun Shangxiang returned to her brother’s court. According to Zhao Yun’s biography, Lady Sun attempted to take Liu Shan with her but was stopped by Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun himself. Through negotiations by the two generals, Lady Sun surrendered the young heir before she journeyed downriver to Jiangdong. It is through this event that the marriage and alliance effectively ended. She never met Liu Bei again, and presumedly never remarried

As for this model, I would say it might not worth its money. Its a very simple, in fact, too simple. It has not much accessories and the armor and head piece come with one. No helm or armor. Cute as it is no doubt, but the details wise is not to good. Itis however build from a GP01. But comparing to recent models such as Cao Pi and Xu Huang, its really not as nice

Welcome Sturridge!

Daniel Sturridge became the first Chelsea signing this season. Its lucky to have him as many of the other signings seems to face some stumbling block: Alonso, Tevez, Ribery and Johnson alike. Here is a little about Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Andre Sturridge, better known as Daniel Sturridge, was born on September 1, 1989 in Birmingham, England. He studied at the Friary School in Lichfield following which, he attended Congleton High School. Football was not new to him as his cousins, Chris Packer and Hayley Packer, played football. He is also the nephew of Dean Sturridge, former Derby County Football Club (F.C.) forward, and Simon Sturridge, ex-Birmingham City player.

Daniel Sturridge was a part of the England national under-17 football team, and has scored in several matches, including the finals against Italy at the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) European Under-17 Championship. He made a total of 5 goals in his six appearances for the team. On March 27, 2007, Daniel Sturridge scored twice for England's Under-18 side against Holland at Huish Park, Yeovil and escalated to the England national under-19 football team in 2008 and has played 3 matches and scored a goal for it as of August 2008.

Daniel Sturridge started his career in football at Aston Villa and in 2002, at the age of 12, he switched to Coventry City F.C. as a youth player. When he was 13, he was sponsored by the German sports apparel manufacturer Adidas. He stayed with Coventry for 14 months and later joined the youth club of Manchester City in 2003 and continued there for three seasons. His stunning performance in the Football Association (FA) Cup attracted the interest of many clubs, such as, Chelsea F.C.

In September 2006 Daniel Sturridge became a part of Manchester City’s senior team by signing a three-year contract. His first team and FA Premier League début for the team came on February 3, 2007, when he came in as a substitute in the 74th minute in a match against Reading at the City of Manchester Stadium. With this Daniel Sturridge became the youngest player to make a first-team appearance in the Premiership in 2007. He netted his first goal, a brilliant volley, for Manchester City on January 27, 2008 on his FA Cup debut in the 4th round match against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. His first goal in the Premiership came on January 30, 2008 in a clash against Derby County, and he went to become the youngest player in Europe to score that day.

On February 13, 2008, his brace contributed to a 4-2 victory for Manchester City over Bristol City at the FA Youth Cup 5th round. Daniel Sturridge not only led the Blues to the Youth Cup Title but also finished as the leading goal scorer of the competition with 7 goals in 6 games.

Daniel Sturridge is the only player to score in the Youth Cup final, the FA Cup, and the Premier league in the same season. At 14, he also became the leading goal scorer and was voted the most valuable player (MVP) at the prestigious U15 Nike Cup. This striker was named as the 'Next Big Thing' in British football by Match magazine’s in its ‘Annual 2007’, becoming the second player to bag this title, behind Theo Walcott, former England Youths strike partner

The Knight is Coming

If one stay close to the Unicorn Gundam series, they would probably know about Kshatriya. Although not the main antagonist (the antagonist is Full Frontal and MSN 06S Sinanju), it is a very nice, not to say large model. Being like The O, it is also a very popular and desired model among modellers. Finally around next month or soon, it will be out in HG form. It is rather sad that it would be unlikely to be out on the MG. One of the reason being its really big so the end price would not be cheap and secondly it is unlikely so much effort will be put on a mobile suit which is not the main one in the series. For even until now, fmous suits like The O and Tallgeese had yet to appear in MG. however, with the details and technicality of this suit, one might not expect the price for this HG to be anything but cheap

Back Stabber

These few days I've been updating just for the sake of updating as I've got some problems which I need to solve internally and externally. Defining these terms are unnecessary as I don't know such problems falls into which of these classes. Though nevertheless, my lecturer apparently decided to give us some examination advices and I was thinking maybe I should share with all of you who had not known about it.

Examination tips

TO DO:

1. Read the instructions carefully.
2. Find your friend and not foe (on question paper).
3. Spend time wisely and allocate time equally for all questions.
4. Write question number clearly according to the sequence of your answer.
5. Cancel blank page.
6. Write ID clearly on each page of answer booklet (including continuing booklet(s)/pages).
7. Write question number on top right corner.
8. Spacing between paragraphs.
9. Start on a new page for different questions/parts.
10. Quote section correctly: for example- s 16(2)(a) and not s 16(2a).
11. Tie the string if use more than 1 answer booklet is used.
12. Use black ink pen (not light and fine point pen).
13. Write big enough for me to read (legible).
14. Underline case name (or highlight).
15. Bring in only allowable statute: Companies Act 1965

NOT TO DO:

1. Be hero (comes in late and/or comes out early from the exam hall).
2. Be hero: attempt more than the required questions.
3. Write my name wrongly.
4. Write love / appeal letter to me.
5. Write exceeding the right column.
6. Repeat the facts or question unnecessary.
7. Give social advice and not legal and practical advice.
8. Write your name on the answer script.
9. Present problem question in an essay-way.
10. Start an answer with “Yes” or “No” but without justification and conclusion.
11. Use liquid paper.

With my ways of blogging I'm starting to get a little worry at times for I don't know when will one of my reader copy, edit and send my post to a lecturer which can only spell disaster. You all might think I'm being to serious but such back stabbers really does exist and exist very closely to my circle of friends. Sometimes its just hard to believe it when at a time you see them as close as they can possibly be and with one flick of a finger they draw swords and crave for their friends' blood. I might sound like wow-he-loves-justice type of people but these actions are really against my principle. Especially using cheap tricks and backstabbing against one another. I'm thankful that such a thing had not happen to me yet but nevertheless I'm going to be more cautious as I don't know when will the Prime Minister be reading on all the criticisms I have for him (though probably he got so much comments that he have no time for mine).

I'm just a little disappointed when I hear this, which is not my place to comment or worry about. Just as a fellow friend and blogger, I think such actions are shameful and cheap

Singworthy

What part of me do you love?

For I have nothing

I’m just a little bit noisy

If you feel lonely

I can bring you excitement

I’ll go around for your sake

It’s no big deal

At least I can make you smile

Actually, I feel very troubled

It’s just you can’t see it

If I also become unhappy

I fear that you would turn your back at me and run away

To love somebody

Must make her believe

How great this world is

Towards everybody

I always say I’m okay

You don’t need to understand my heart, my feeling

So long as I treat you nice

Do you like this kind of tenderness?

Actually, which part of me do you love?

I can play any roles you like

I don’t care if I’m happy or not

s long as you are happy

I’ve forgotten all the tiredness

Actually, which part of me do you love?

I can give you all types of expressions

With you, I’ve learned to cry

Dogs, Nagaworld and A Come True

I guess I'm using a very weird title. But don't worry as all will be explained in due time. Just going to give a brief introduction to 3 places in Cambodia. One is this mountain which I forget the name. You need to climb 800 steps of stairs to reach the top. And along the way, begging is like one of the biggest trade being carried out. Even dogs are used to beg! And surprisingly, dogs seem to gain an edge over normal human beings when it comes to this trade.

Secondly is this gorge or some call is the well wishing gorge. Though I know its probably not true, I did make a wish here. And there's a tradition that says one can only use British Pennies to make their wishes

Thirdly, or by far the most interesting is Nagaworld. A huge casino. It is much bigger than Genting of course. And they don't bar kids from going in. As in even if you are 5 or six years old. And as long as you have money then you may play. Of course I did. Its the first time I actually rolled a few games in a casino

Xu Huang @ Serpent

Xu Huang (169 – 227) was a prominent military general under the powerful warlord Cao Cao and his successor Cao Pi during the late Eastern Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms era of China. He was most noted for breaking the siege at the Battle of Fancheng in 219.

Born in the county of Yang in the late years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Xu Huang worked as a local administrative officer in his younger days. Later, he followed the general Yang Feng (楊奉) on a campaign against the Yellow Turban Rebellion and was appointed a commander of the cavalry. In 196, after the death of the tyrannical warlord Dong Zhuo, Xu Huang and Yang Feng escorted Emperor Xian from Chang'an back to Luoyang, which by then was much dilapidated. In the same year, Cao Cao came personally to Luoyang to move the emperor to Xuchang.
Xu Huang then prompted Yang Feng to join Cao Cao's camp, but Yang Feng did not heed the advice. Instead he sent out a force in a futile bid to snatch back Emperor Xian. Cao Cao soon retaliated and defeated Yang Feng, whereupon Xu Huang surrendered himself to Cao Cao.
Hereafter Xu Huang participated in every major campaign Cao Cao undertook, including offensives against Lü Bu, Yuan Shao, Ma Chao, and Ta Dun (蹋頓). Xu Huang performed well in all of them, being noted especially for his resourcefulness.

Xu Huang's most glorious moment in his military career came in the Battle of Fancheng in 219. When the city of Fancheng (樊城), a district of present day Xiangfan, Hubei) was besieged by enemy general Guan Yu and the first relief force led by Yu Jin was vanquished, Xu Huang was sent with a second relief force to help protect the city.

Knowing that most of his soldiers were poorly trained, Xu Huang did not go into battle straight away but camped behind the enemy to impose a deterrence effect. Meanwhile, he instructed his men to dig trenches around the nearby enemy city of Yancheng (偃城) in a pretense to cut off supplies into the city. The enemies were deceived and abandoned their position. Xu Huang then established a foothold in Yan. By this time more support troops had arrived, and with the strengthened army Xu Huang finally unleashed an attack on Guan Yu's camp. Guan Yu personally led 5,000 horsemen to meet the attackers, but was eventually outmatched. Many of his soldiers were forced into the nearby Han River and drowned. The siege on Fancheng was then broken

As for this model, there is only one word to describe: beautiful. It is a very well made model design after a Serpent (a mobile suit in Gundam Wing). It is ironic that its counterpart, Lu Bu who is also build from a Gundam Wing mobile suit Talgeese, is not as good as him despite Talgeese is a more prominent mobile suit than the Serpent. However, lots of colouring is necessary. I sprayed the whole thing. Which include the mantel around his neck. The only troublesome part would probably be the axe. The axe was not originally design this way. The original design make it look like a pincer. Bout somehow it is produced this way. The hard part is of course the design on the weapon as tedious hand conrol is needed to prevent the colour from flowing to the outer area

The Hall of Sins

Ok. The first two photos is a short history of this place. This place was actually a high school before being turn into a hell like this place where it is used to torture people. Victims are not able to commit suicide as the7 are usually being hold by barbed wires. Nail pullings, brain drilling, eye gouging is something which is common in this area

This is an example of a room where the victim is being locked. When the Pol Put regime is defeated, there are still victims here, well, at least their corpse. For the further pictures I will let the pics explain themselves

The thing they use to lock people's legs and hands. Instead of chains, they use this steel rod making escape even more difficult as the victim can't even walk properly

Brain drilling machine where the wictim sits and the screw is slowy scraping its way into the victims head. You see a picture of a baby above? Actually its the picture of a mother and the baby. Both suffered the same fate. Baby too.

1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam

As somemight be aware, as celebration for the 30th anniversary of Gundam, the 1/1 Scale Gundam RX-78-2 built at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo. Its not a mere statue or wood or a piece of steel. Its made completely like a model which I make. Part by part. Be impressed. It marks a historical moment for Gundam fans throughout the world. This is the real thing! Like statue of liberty and all. Even before opeining for public on July 11th, you can see there's at least a thousand visitor a day, some photographing and some camping, just to get a better view of this real size Gundam

The Killing Fields

If one were to visit Cambodia one should know a little history on how a wealthy family had turn into such a wretched one as it is today. One of the biggest contributor would be none ather than Pol Put, the leader of the Khmer Rouge which cause a genocide resulting in at least 800,950 many deaths. This Killing Field is the largest execution ground. In Cambodian it is called 'Pray Ait'. It is called so because 'Ait' means crow in Cambodian language and folklore says that if a crow lands on someone's house, death will take place in that house. So they call it Pray Ait or a place where many crows gathers. This picture above is an example of many graves there. Some are babies, some are headless while some are naked women.

This tree here is also a 'sports' tree. A tree where the Khmer Rouge army play their games. The games itself, of course, is not ordinary not to say inhuman. For example hanging their victim's upside down until they die, or holding the legs of a child and smash their skulls on the tree

The skulls which are dug up. There are in fact many. It is placed here because it can't be recognized anymore, like, which head belong to which body. And they are real of course

Its all stacked up pile by pile and if you see behind me you'll noticed how much, you can't use many here, skulls are there. There are other limbs of course but I am not going post it. It is a regulation not to laugh or speak loudly here. And its better be followed. Its not really a good place to visit for those who are not strong enough spiritually. When I come here, I just don't feel good. If this cruelty and injustice is not enough, I'm gontinuing next on Hall of Sins where tonned of tortures are being conducted from face scraping to brain drilling

Short Update

Hi guys! I'm back. There's been a lack of update lately as I'm not around. Just came back from Cambodia 2 days ago. There won't be pictures anytime soon, well, maybe tomorrow because the pictures are still with my sister. All and all its good to be home as I miss honey a lot. Cambodia is not a bad place, a pitiful country torn apart by war with begging as the main profession.

There's also going to be an update on my new models soon too. So stay tune. Cheers!

My belated congratulations to Chelsea FC which mark one of the most iconic victory ever. Just in 25 seconds Saha lead Everton 1-0. However, the player always react and they reacted again. Didier equalised immeditately before the first half whistle. A perfect left foot from Frank sealed our victory against Everton

This also mark the perfect send off to Guus Hiddink who took over as interin coach. He only lose once in the 22 games he is in charge. Again, thanks Guus for all the excitement you bring to all the fans and once again, well done Chelsea!

Huang Zhong Gundam Mark II

Born in Nanyang Commandery (present day Nanyang, Henan), Huang Zhong initially served a military post under Liu Biao, governor of Jing Province (荆州). After Liu Biao's death in 208, the powerful warlord Cao Cao conquered Jing Province and Huang Zhong continued his service under this new lord of the land, specifically in Changsha under the Administrator, Han Xuan.
Following Cao Cao's defeat at the Battle of Red Cliffs in the same year, Liu Bei was gradually taking over the various commanderies in southern Jing Province, including Changsha. Huang Zhong strongly recommended to his lord Han Xuan to surrender to Liu Bei, which they did, sparing many innocent civilian lives that would be lost if there were a battle. Huan Xuan and Huang Zhong then began their service under Liu Bei. He performed extremely well in Liu Bei's campaign to gain Yi Province (益州) from 212 to 214, his bravery in battles unmatched by any. After Yi Province was taken, Huang Zhong was promoted to General who Campaigns against Rebels

In 217, Liu Bei led a force upon Hanzhong, which was under the control of Cao Cao. His force met with resistance led by Xiahou Yuan at Yangping Pass (陽平關). The confrontation dragged on for more than a year until one night, Liu Bei set fire to the barbed fence around Xiahou Yuan's camp at the foot of Mount Dingjun. Alarmed by the attack, Xiahou Yuan sent Zhang He to defend the eastern corner of the camp, while he guarded the south. Liu Bei's main force pressed against Zhang He, outmatching the latter. Xiahou Yuan had to dispatch a fraction of his own troops to Zhang He's rescue.

Accompanied by thundering drums, the division led by Huang Zhong then descended upon Xiahou Yuan's dwindling force. The battle became a rout and Xiahou Yuan himself was killed in battle. The victory at Mount Dingjun was a major stepping stone to the later conquest of Hanzhong.

In 219, Liu Bei proclaimed himself King of Hanzhong, a symbolic measure comparing himself to the Emperor Gaozu of Han. He then promoted Huang Zhong to General of the Rear (後將軍), placing the latter on the same level as four other major generals: Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun and Ma Chao. However, Huang Zhong died in the next year, to an unspecified cause. He was given the posthumous title of Marquis Gang, literally meaning The Unyielding Marquis

As for the model, it isn't as complicated as it looked. In fact it is easily done and the model is superb. Both the side shiled is actually a huge dragon arbalest. Very stable, and many different position and weapons for one to play about. None of the areas are problematic. It is build after a Gundam Mark II but its added with many weapons the original mark to doesn't have. Compare with other bow equipped models such as Zhou Yu and Xiahou Yuan, this is definitely the best yet!
