A Dog Name Faith

A dog name faith.

A story about a dog who was born on Christmas Eve in 2002.

He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be amputated.

He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him. He was rejected and scorned.

His first owner also did not think that he could survive. Therefore, he was thinking of putting him to sleep..

At this time, his present owner Jude Stringfellow came into his life and wanted to take c are of him.

She was determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself.. She thought, all we need is a little faith. Therefore she named him 'Faith.'

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surf board to let him feel the movements of the water. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and to reward him for standing up and jumping around. Even the other dogs at home helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, after only 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he can now walk like a human being..

Faith loves to walk around now.
No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared in various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him.

His present owner Jude Stringfellow has given up her teaching job and plans to take him around the world to preach, 'that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul.'

In life there are always undesirable things.

Perhaps a person who feels things are not going as well as they could will feel better if they change their point of view and see things from another perspective.

Perhaps this message will bring fresh new ways of thinking to everyone.

Perhaps everyone can appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day that follows. Life is the continual demonstration of the power of thinking positive and having faith..

Bento!

A very huge surprise for me! Honey can actually cook. The bento set she prepared and its one of the tastiest dish I had in my life! (:

Waffle

At first glance anyone reasonable man would assume that the title had nothing to do with the picture. But that is not necessarily so.

Look that this little thing. Its obviously a fingger puppet modeled after Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. Honey got it from some easter egg chocolate thing which she named it Waffle. She thinks its very cute and had been trying to distract me by making it scratch its crotch accompanied her voice trying to immitate Stitch while I'm driving us for dinner.

When we reach Sabak Aur for ikan bakar I ask her "eh, you're not taking it down ah?" The reply is "no. Later the cats bite him off." I was like fine and put it in the box near the gear. As I close halfway I was stop. I ask "Now what?" She say not to close completely. I ask why? Isn't it better? So cats won't see it from my window. The reply was "Don't want. Later Waffle can't breathe will die >.<"

My Break

Another KL trip with honey again last saturday which is the second we had with many more to come. Ironically we are lucky in such a sense that we didn't go lost or take a wrong turn despite not having any GPS. I must give all the credit to Michelle for she kept vigilant and look out for sign board for me. I'm also lucky in another sense that she is not like those girlfriends who will sleep through the whole journey (:

A lunch at La Bodega. A recommended place especially for those who like Spanish food. Althoughits lunch we ordered one of their Big Breakfast set which comes with toast, scramble eggs, meat balls, sauteed mushroom, grill tomatoes, sausages etc etc. Its very very good

This fried rice thing is don't know what paella valenciano or sth of the sort. Not too bad but not something I enjoyed very much. Simply for two reason, one they fry it with tomato. Two, I'm force to deal with the big toilet business four times and I seriously suspect its due to this dubious looking dish.

As I followed honey walking in and out of shops with hands full of Forever 21 and others which I don't bother remembering the name, I'm hapy and not even a little bored. Cause I finally bought my Hyaku Shiki High Definition Limited Edition!!!!! I'm not so thrilled at buying la actually. I bought it simply again for 2 reasons. The first reason is a pretty unlucky one as my original plan to buy an ACguy had been derailed. No more stock. So.... my coming Hawaii beach Gundam project will be put on hold. Second, the shop is giving a whole lot of special discount!!. The usual price for this is RM 264.00 but I got it for only RM 169.00. It is the same for all other models, so I'm giving a short advertisement for the shop. Its called Grafitti Toys, Time Square 5th floor next to Mc Donalds. Hurry and grab while stock last (: Especially those who are looking for these limited HD colour version (Mark IIs, Zetas and Shikis).

Lastly, we watched this. Showing this movie in Pavillion. How ironic. Probably, due to the current economic crisis, its shown to raise some mental awareness to you ladies (:

Happy Chinese New Year!!

First and foremost I'll like to wish everyone a very Happy and prosperous Chinese New Year. I haven't been updating for some time and looks like my longest stretch since my history of blogging. Of course, this is mostly dued to the offline mode on festive seasons.

The gambling session. For some reason I lost a lot of money this year. Can you believe it when someone get black jack about six times in a row?

But this is supplemented with the great company of honey throughout the whole season.

We went for good food together

We went for good movies (Red Cliff 2 and Bride Wars) together

We spend all our time together

Yup. The whole new year is full of Michelle and I spend it in a way like never before. Many many more Happy New Years together honey! (: Thats all for my New Year. A New Year full of joy, happiness, ove and Michelle(:

Very nice dessert which called "Uh Huh" or something. Comes with a variety of Caramel, Strawberry, Durian, Chocolate, Coffee, Banana and so on (:

Its all my reward for after the exam. Although it was plan earlier, I told myself when I went into the examination venue. If its well, this is a reward, if it is not, then its a consolation. So either way i win :P Thanks honey for such a happy, exciting, exhilirating, splendid and memorable trip. I enjoyed every minute and every second of it from shivering in the bus, walking the wrong way, lunch at Roma's, tea at Loaf, Rushing for trains, trying out clothes (you;ll get one next trip for sure :P), looking for models, ridiculing Borders for their poor management, escaping from familiar faces and coming back seeing our being surrounded in the middle of a hawer centre (:

I enjoyed myself a lot and I'm looking forward to the next trip. And the next, and next and many many more next one too. Study hard for the test next week and don't be too stress :P 143

Christmas Carol

After witnessing themusical the other day, I've been wanting to hear the Christian fellowship society to sing again. Lol. Since my roommate's singing, so I follow him to CLC to listen to some Christmas carol session. Nice. Simply sweet and soothing. Make me feel at peace
